Terms and Conditions for Yoga Alliance Professionals Further Training

As a student of your training course, I consent to my contact details (name, email and phone number) being passed onto our partners, Yoga Alliance Professionals, so they can contact me directly and invite me to register as a Trainee and Teacher. I understand that I have the option of opting out of this registration process.

Students on paying their deposit will be sent the following code of conduct to sign and return

Attendance

We expect 100% attendance on all our trainings, we do however realise that there may be unforeseen circumstances that are unavoidable that results in non-attendance, here are the Terms and Conditions should this be the case.

If the circumstances are proven to be unavoidable (you will need to give a full written explanation of this to the Course Director) and you miss one day as long as the written and practical exams are passed you will still qualify, (except for our Pranayama Trainings which is Practice based assignments so a one to one will be necessary at £50/hour.)

If one day is missed it is your responsibility to arrange a one-to-one with the tutor at £50/ hour.

Each day missed will need to be assessed individually to how much one to one will be required to catch up and to fulfil the requirements of each Training Course.

Information held

Enquiries from non customers – message, name and email address – received via our website or by email - held for up to a year, and used to answer query and follow up.
Mailing list – name and email address - populated by people registering on our website, or opting in on an enquiry form. People completing a health declaration are added to the mailing list so they can be kept in touch with class/training information, but all mailings have an opt out link – indefinitely.
Health and registration forms from students - name, contact details and health information – completed via our website or in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Attendance registers – data collected in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Notes on classes and sessions - data collected in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Emails – sent from clients and non clients. Important messages are saved in our filing system, otherwise emails retained for up to two years.
Payment data, excluding card information which we do not receive at any time. Received via accounting and banking systems, and saved for at least seven years for accounting and tax obligations.
Website cookies set automatically by our software. We do not knowingly access these or pass to third parties.
Except where required by law, we do not share data with third parties or sell contact lists.
Information held by Evolve Yoga Training is accessed by staff working for Evolve Yoga Training, and contractors working on Evolve Yoga Training IT, and may be shared, on a need to basis, with other teachers at Evolve Yoga Training, eg if you are attending their class/training, or they are covering a class/training.
